We manufacture the XJ.615 21V Lithium-Ion Brushless Hammer Drill/Driver — 140N·m Torque, Hammer/Drill Dual-Mode as part of our Xiaojia cordless platform: a 21V DC, 140 N·m, two-speed hammer drill/driver with a 13 mm chuck, built for fit-out crews, maintenance technicians and outdoor installation teams that need one cordless unit to drill concrete, masonry, steel, tile and timber.

Hangzhou Xinabo Intelligent Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd was established in 2010 and holds the National High-tech Enterprise title with more than 30 patents. Our 10,000 m² factory in Hangzhou, Zhejiang produces intelligent pipe threading equipment and the cordless tool range that supports it on site — hammer drill/drivers, rotary hammers, impact wrenches, angle grinders, saws, hydraulic cutters, hole punchers and backpack battery packs. As a cordless power tool manufacturer in China, we supply both project quantities and distributor programmes from the same production line.

Where the XJ.615 Sits in Our Hammer Drill/Driver Range

The three models below share the 21V battery platform and the same chuck family, and are separated by torque ceiling, gear count and control electronics. The XJ.615 is the middle working point: enough torque for concrete anchors and steel structure support work, with two gears that keep small-diameter drilling controllable.

Model Max torque Speed / control Typical fit
XJ.608 100 N·m Two-speed, anti-kickback control Light fit-out, assembly, overhead work
XJ.615 140 N·m 0-400 / 1800 rpm, two gears, hammer + drill Mixed-site drilling in concrete, metal, tile
XJ.617 170 N·m Three-speed, heavy-duty Large-diameter holes, steel structure work

Where a project runs heavier anchor and steel work alongside general fit-out, the XJ.617 21V Lithium-Ion Brushless Hammer Drill/Driver (Heavy-Duty) — 170N·m Torque, 3-Speed is the natural companion unit; for sustained chiselling and masonry production work we point crews to an SDS-plus machine instead.

What the Specifications Mean on Site

Parameter XJ.615 value Practical meaning
Rated voltage 21V DC Cordless operation; shares the 21V pack family
Motor High-power brushless No brush replacement; lower heat build-up under load
No-load speed 0-400 / 1800 rpm (2 gears) Low gear for hole saws and large bits; high gear for small diameters
Max torque 140 N·m Driving structural screws and anchors; hole saws in steel plate
Chuck 13 mm Accepts round, hex and SDS-adaptor shanks up to 13 mm
Modes Hammer / drill Percussion for masonry; rotary-only for steel, tile and timber

Torque figures are the tool's maximum, reached in low gear. In practice the working point is set by bit diameter, material and feed pressure: a 6 mm bit in tile runs in high gear at low pressure, while a 60 mm hole saw in steel plate belongs in low gear with cutting fluid and a controlled feed.

Hammer Mode and Drill Mode: Material Fit

  • Concrete and masonry — hammer mode, low gear. Anchor holes, conduit penetrations and fixing points in cast walls; the depth gauge sets consistent embedment.
  • Steel and metal — drill mode, low gear. HSS or cobalt bits for equipment repair, bracket drilling and steel structure support work; hammer mode is never used on metal.
  • Tile and board — drill mode, high gear, no percussion. Masking tape at the entry point and light feed prevent glaze chipping.
  • Timber and composite — drill mode. Pilot drilling and screw driving with the one-touch forward/reverse control.

Application Fit Across Site Work

Renovation and fit-out

Concrete wall drilling, air-conditioning and service penetrations, plumbing and electrical channelling, tile drilling where a rotary hammer would be too aggressive.

Industrial maintenance

Equipment repair, metal hole drilling, steel structure support work and general assembly where mains power is not available at the workface.

Outdoor and municipal

Outdoor equipment installation, solar bracket fixing and municipal facility repair, where the tool travels with the crew rather than staying in a workshop.

Battery, Charger and Runtime Planning

The XJ.615 ships as a kit with battery, charger, side handle, depth gauge and a hard storage case, so a crew can put it to work on delivery. Pack capacity and the number of packs per tool are set per order, based on shift length, hole diameter and how many tools share the charger.

  • For high-consumption work — large hole saws, continuous anchor drilling — a second pack per tool keeps the drill running while the first charges.
  • For crews running several 21V tools from one power source, our Backpack Lithium Battery Pack — 20Ah/30Ah, Powers Multiple 21V-60V Tools Simultaneously extends continuous operation without returning to a charger.
  • Charger input voltage is matched to the destination market and confirmed on the order.

Controls, Protection and Operator Safety

  • Overheat and overload protection built into the tool electronics, cutting power before the motor or pack is damaged.
  • One-touch forward/reverse for backing out bits and driving screws without changing grip.
  • Side handle and depth gauge as standard, giving two-handed control in hammer mode and repeatable hole depth.
  • Two-gear selection keeps surface speed appropriate to the accessory, which is the main control against bit burn and kickback.
  • Site practice: eye and hearing protection in hammer mode, dust extraction or wet suppression when drilling overhead, and a check that the pack is latched before raising the tool.

Configuration and Order Scope

We build the XJ.615 in kit form as standard and adjust the scope for project and distributor orders. Typical variables we confirm before production:

  • Tool-only supply versus full kit with battery, charger and case.
  • Number of battery packs and chargers per tool, and charger plug type for the destination market.
  • Carton marking, labelling and master-carton quantities for distributor programmes.
  • Mixed consignments with other 21V tools from our range, including rotary hammers and impact wrenches.

Where a job needs sustained chiselling or masonry production rather than occasional percussion, we supply the XJ.709 21V Lithium-Ion High-Magnetic Brushless Rotary Hammer — SDS-plus Chuck, 1.7J Impact Energy alongside the drill/driver rather than pushing the XJ.615 beyond its intended duty.

Quality Control, Documentation and Delivery

Tools are assembled in our Hangzhou plant, where incoming components, motor assembly and final function checks are controlled against the released specification. Our certificate library holds Machinery Directive and Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive attestations of conformity, and the document set issued with a specific order is confirmed at quotation.

  • Function check on every unit: gear selection, mode change, chuck run-out, forward/reverse and protection cut-out.
  • Delivery scope: drill/driver, side handle, depth gauge, battery, charger and hard storage case.
  • Packing is specified for the shipping method; pallet and carton dimensions are issued with the order confirmation.

Information We Use to Configure Your Solution

  • Materials to be drilled and the hole diameter range for each.
  • Duty pattern — holes per shift, continuous or intermittent, indoor or outdoor.
  • Existing battery platform on site, if tools must share packs and chargers.
  • Quantity split between kits and tool-only units, plus any mixed-model consignment.
  • Destination market, charger plug type and required documentation.
  • Delivery schedule and whether a demonstration or operator briefing is needed on arrival.

Maintenance, Spare Parts and Serviceability

The brushless motor removes brush wear from the maintenance schedule, leaving the chuck, switch, gearbox and battery contacts as the parts that need attention. We recommend clearing ventilation slots after dusty work, wiping chuck jaws, storing packs at moderate temperature and inspecting the side handle thread before each hammer-mode session.

Spare parts support covers the consumable and wear items across our tool range, and our technical team provides product briefings and operator training for buyer partners on request. For fleets, we can agree a recommended spares holding with the order so a single failed chuck does not idle a crew.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the XJ.615 drill into concrete without a separate rotary hammer?

Yes, for anchor and fixing holes up to typical service diameters. Hammer mode with a masonry bit in low gear covers wall penetrations and conduit runs. For chiselling, or for sustained large-diameter masonry drilling, an SDS-plus rotary hammer is the correct tool.

What does the 140 N·m rating actually cover?

It is the maximum torque in low gear, used for driving structural screws and anchors and for turning hole saws in steel plate. High gear is the normal working range for small-diameter bits, where lower torque and higher speed give cleaner holes.

What is included in a standard kit?

Drill/driver, side handle, depth gauge, 21V battery, charger and a hard storage case. Battery quantity, charger plug type and carton marking are set per order.

Does the tool share batteries with other Xinabo cordless products?

The XJ.615 runs on our 21V platform, which also covers our rotary hammers, impact wrenches, angle grinders and other cordless tools. Crews can standardise on one pack family, and our backpack battery pack extends runtime for high-consumption work.

How quickly can a project order be configured and confirmed?

Once we have the material and hole-diameter range, duty pattern, quantity split and destination market, we issue a configuration with the battery and charger scope, packing details and documentation. Production scheduling follows order confirmation.
